Fiberglass Pig - 2000
I painted on of the fiberglass pigs which were displayed in the Des Moines metro area. Mine was displayed during the Iowa State Fair and was sold at auction. I would love to get it back. One side was the traditional story and the other sides were that the wolf was innocent.

Two of my friends are Rachel and Catherine tone, decendants of the Des Moines, Iowa, tone spices company. I have created some tone spice related art for the tones.
Smitty OCT 3 2009

The Underground July - August 2009
I worked for several weeks in the art department on this small film that was mostly film in Newton, IA, at dirty unused Maytag factory. I was the Swing Gang and worked closely with Lead Man, Chad Branham. Producer/Writer Harel Goldstein was sentenced to jail for four years May 2010. I secured all of the lab monitors from friend. We made the pile of bones from plastic tubing, styrofoam balls and plaster. The axe was made of styrofoam. Watch entire move free at https://youtu.be/pdNQKrhWOFI?si=ehpCduQ5Qz94uQM7
ART page morphing to all creative timeline
I am a hobbiest not a great artist. This web page just shows me what I was up to. I have to look at an image in order to draw it. I don't know if including the original here is interesting or distracting. I threw out a bunch of art in the late 1990s at Mary E's house and then again at Eric W's house in about 2003. This page includes items found on other pages but is here too to fill creative timeline gaps.

October 1 2014 - DM Art Center photography class
This might have been a fashion photography class held in a few sessions and coincided with the Andy Warhol and Des Moines-born fashion designer Halson which ran from Sept 19, 2014 - Jan 18, 2015. A few models were brought in. I once thought the US sucked and now I think it is great. Sorry for the offending photos. Ben Easter talked about his photography experience.
November 11 2009 - Veterans History Project
The Veterans History Project at the Library of Congress collects, preserves and makes accessible the firsthand recollections of U.S. military veterans who served from World War I through more recent conflicts and peacekeeping missions, so that future generations may hear directly from veterans and better understand what they saw, did and felt during their service. I video taped Frank Victory Exline who was a prisoner of the Japanese.
