November 2012- US Postal Service - 'Thanks Vets' video
I was hired to create a US Postal Service 'Thank You' video for Hawkeye District employees who served in the military. I think the postal employees are great and doubly great for serving in the US Military.

Photo Contests
I normally submit more than one photo. The photos show are the ones selected.

April 10, 2010 - Westboro Baptist - Drake University
The seven WBC members standing behind barricades across University Avenue were protesting a symposium on "The Same Sex Marriage Divide" sponsored by the Constitutional Law Center at Drake Law School. I interviewed this woman with my camera sitting on a tripod.

Julyish 2000 - 2002 Black and White
I took a B/W DMACC - Ankeny photo class. It was mostly middle aged women and the instructor told me I could not develop my "bimbo" photos. Bob Schulte, an occasional art Grandview College instructor, invited me to develop B/W film for the State Fair photo contest. I keep going back. At some point another instructor noticed I was not a student and told me to come only when he was there. I might have used B/W into late 2002 or early 2003 as I have a photos of B/W Todd G 2003 license plate. This is just a sample of the B/W era.

Sept 2015 - Walls of Jericho - Corey Taylor interview
I videotaped Corey Taylor of Slipknot and Stone Sour talking about this album which he produced and performed on. The video was shot in his house and combined with the band talking about the EP.. TrustKill Records put the video on Youtube and I am listed in the credits on the EP. My footage starts at 1:30. Below is a screen shot of the video and Trustkill's version. They increased the whites and decreased the blacks for an effect but the face loses detail. If any one has an vinyl version of this, contact me.

ART page morphing to all creative timeline
I am a hobbiest not a great artist. This web page just shows me what I was up to. I have to look at an image in order to draw it. I don't know if including the original here is interesting or distracting. I threw out a bunch of art in the late 1990s at Mary E's house and then again at Eric W's house in about 2003. Those out a barrel of art. I threw out all of my 35mm negatives and prints and printing plates. Sadness. This page includes items found on other pages on this site but is here too to fill creative timeline gaps. I was interested in art, photography, video, and cycling, so I would think you can follow trends in my life in this time line. Other pages on this site go into details on a project.

Viking Pump video shoot - June 19 2010
I shoot raw video footage for ION TV at Viking Pump - Cedar Falls, Iowa, facilities. I interviewed employees. ION then edits and publishes the video on the internet. That video is no longer on the internet. I received a free small sample pump and threw it away. I am an idiot for throwing all my stuff way. Video was standard definition. I hired Ian Miller to help me.
