Windfall Films - Feb & March 2008

I worked for several weeks in the art department on this small film that was mostly film in Newton, IA, at dirty unused Maytag factory. I was the Swing Gang and worked closely with Lead Man, Chad Branham. Producer/Writer Harel Goldstein was sentenced to jail for four years May 2010. I secured all of the lab monitors from friend. I shoot raw video footage for ION TV at Viking Pump - Cedar Falls, Iowa, facilities. I interviewed employees. ION then edits and publishes the video on the internet. That video is no longer on the internet. I received a free small sample pump and threw it away. I am an idiot for throwing all my stuff way. Video was standard definition. I hired Ian Miller to help me.

I painted on of the fiberglass pigs which were displayed in the Des Moines metro area. Mine was displayed during the Iowa State Fair and was sold at auction. I would love to get it back. One side was the traditional story and the other sides were that the wolf was innocent.

The seven WBC members standing behind barricades across University Avenue were protesting a symposium on "The Same Sex Marriage Divide" sponsored by the Constitutional Law Center at Drake Law School. I interviewed this woman with my camera sitting on a tripod.

Canon and director Ron Howard make a short film from eight photos. Starting May 22, 2011, nearly 96,362 photos were submitted in 22 days. There were 12 finalist photos per category; Setting; Time; Character; Mood; Relationship; Goal; Obstacle; The Unknown. My photo of an old man in his kitchen made it to the last 12 photos in the ‘relationship’ category. August 9, 2011 - Final 8 photos selected. I received $100.
