Recreations & Reclamations
I have always been a purger of stuff. But throwing away my art hurts me the most. I have tossed out art, photographs, and negatives. I have thrown out mementos like bike ride patches, bike medals and purchases from overseas, like a Lomo camera kit purchased in Melbourne. I had over 40 film festival catalogs, threw them out, got them all back, threw them out and have about 1/2 now. I don't have my first anything. It makes me sad and I don't do it any more. I am always trying to locate these items or try to recreate it.
Car Dealer Bastile Day - July 14 2001
I saw this guy and stopped to photo. He wanted his money back on a car purchase. They were camera shy and I held his sign while they spoke in the office. They wanted to trade my photos for his money. I kept my photos and he got his money. July 14, 2001, July 14 is Bastile Day, a French day of resistance. These were mostly developed/printed at Grandview College. I went there with Bob to develop photos for the State Fair and kept going back until a instructor questioned my student status and I wasn't one.

June 2015 - Vanity Fair - Vincent Van Gogh shooting
Vanity Fair publishes an author's theory that Van Gogh was shot instead of committing suicide. I respond. I received an email from Teio Meedendorp. I need to add my response and Teio's.
Election Signs
I made all of the signs below in Photoshop and printed them off on my 17X19 inch printer. I added these to the election signs that I gathered from campaigns prior to the Iowa Caucus.

I normally submit more than one photo. The photos show are the ones selected.
